History and Milestones

Hexza Corporation Berhad, originally known as Norsechem (M) Sdn. Bhd. (Norsechem), was incorporated on 25th June 1969 as a private limited company on a joint-venture basis between two Norwegian companies, Overseas Company Ltd. and A/S Jotun Odd Gleditsch (now known as A/C Jotungruppen) and a Malaysian investment holding company, Summit Holdings Sdn. Bhd.

After undergoing a scheme of reorganisation in 1979 in compliance with the New Economic Policy, it successfully made a public issue of 1,700,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each at par to the Malaysian public on 18th August 1979. The Company was admitted to the Official List of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange on 13th October 1979.

Hexza Corporation Berhad is an investment holding company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia. Over the years, we have strategically expanded our portfolio through various subsidiaries, cementing our position as a prominent player in the ethanol and resins market in Malaysia.

CIM and BAP upgraded to ISO Certificate MS ISO 9001:2015 by SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd.
